We want to tell you about our very Latvian partner “Vaives Mill” – a place that will make your eyes shine and create a touching celebration feeling. This wonderful guest house is surrounded by forest, only 95 km from Riga and 30 km from Valmiera. Vaives Mill is an excellent place for people who wonder about the traditions of our ancestors and enjoy Latvian culture.
The guest house offers a look at the surroundings of the mill, where everyone has the opportunity to be in the moment and enjoy the captivating nature of Latvia. Walking along the fabulous forest trails and listening to the songs of birds, you will be able to see the sandstone outcrops, which have great landscape value. The Vaives River, which is rich in springs, rock outcrops, remarkable sandstone and dolomite caves, is located right next to the Vaives mill. Multi-level locks are also a highly sought-after and notable object.
This place is special with its Latvian atmosphere, created by the owners themselves. Vaives Mill offers a barn building with a guest hall and accommodation. It is an interesting fact that the building was put into service in 2018 on the eve of the centenary of Latvia. It should be noted that the guest house can accommodate more than 40 guests.
On the other side of the building there are 9 rooms with 20 beds. This is an oasis of peace filled with traditional charm. The walls of the rooms, as well as the corridor, are decorated with traditional Latvian symbols. This place is great for a fulfillment of peaceful and spiritual feeling.
